Dressing Up

On May 3rd we were finally able to get these babies blessed. We hadn't been to church on a Fast Sunday since they were born, so it we were getting a little anxious about getting it done. It ended up being perfect though.

The boys were just under 3 months old, and they were starting to chunk up a little bit and fit into their blessing outfits nicely.

Will cooperated for pictures, as always.

It was a beautiful day and Adam did a great job.

After dressing the babes up in their blessing outfits, I wanted to play a little more so I dressed them in these outfits my mom made.

They would've been dang cute for newborn pics, but these guys were so little they just swallowed them! They fit them pretty well by three months though lol.

Henry was a pretty good sport but Charlie enjoyed it a little bit less.

I love that it looks like Henry is punching Charlie right in the face here. He isn't really, but the reaction is perfect!

Springtime!

Easter came and went pretty quickly at the Ainge residence. Adam had to finish up the last weekend of his turnaround, meaning he had to work. We knew Will was going to love coloring eggs this year though, so we made sure to squeeze it in when we got the chance.

As we suspected, he got a kick out of it.  He just wanted to color more and more eggs, and was pretty sad when we ran out.

My brother Michael had to come out to Louisiana that weekend for work, so he stayed with us for the weekend. It was nice to have someone around to hang out and watch conference with.

Michael really wanted a picture of him holding all the babies, but Will wasn't cooperating so Will, so we opted to let him sit on the back of the couch instead of trying to balance on Michael's shoulders.

Our Easter spread. Will was pretty excited about it. He couldn't figure out what to do first--find the eggs that were waiting for him or dig into his basket!

Unfortunately, we don't have a yard since we live the 2nd floor of an apartment building, so we had to do an inside egg hunt. Will still enjoyed himself, but found all the eggs too fast for us to even get any pictures!

He was also pretty stoked about his pirate bucket. The kid really loves pirates.

The babes in their Easter outfits. They love taking pictures together ;)

We got some cool new diapers as part of a kickstarter campaign and I wanted to try them on the kids. Will had to jump in too of course.

And here are some more random pictures of my boys!

March Madness

To say that our March was crazy would be an understatement. Since Adam's plant had a turnaround that started two weeks after the twins were born, we decided to get as much help here as we could. We knew he would be working 60-70 hours a week for five weeks, and it turns out he had to work the night shift for most of that too. Obviously he wasn't going to be any help with the babies, so we scheduled family to come out for the whole month.

Of course, with 2 tiny babies we weren't able to get out much, but I did make sure to get lots of pictures while they were so teeny.

We had a great week of just the five of us while Adam was on paternity leave, and then my mom came out.

We loved having her around and were sad for her to go, but Adam was able to drop her off and pick up Aunt Mikki and Uncle Taylor the same day. A week later, Grandma Deena and Aunt Zoe came out, then Grandpa Markie and Colleen two weeks later.

It was great having the help because this is pretty much all Adam did while he was home.

We're also lucky enough to have a great ward that was a ton of help. They brought over lots of meals for us and took Will to go play so everybody could get a break. Will loved that too--he hates being cooped up in the house all the time.

We really appreciated all the help from our friends and family. We wouldn't have made it without their help! And we also really appreciate the fact that Adam is on a normal schedule again :)

Will ready to feed the babies ;)

Thanks everybody! We love you!
