Fun Around Home

After the couple of weeks we spent in Utah, it was nice to have some time back at home.

We finally got the twins in for their 18 month appointment, and they both measured big and healthy!

We decided to take the kids out to play after their appointment, so we found a cool park close to the office in Walnut Creek.

It was hot, but the boys had a blast exploring the new park.

Then it was Labor Day and Adam had the day off, so we decided to set up our new pool and have a water day with the boys.

Henry was more interested in his car than the water, but they all had a fun time!

The twins still have some sharing issues. They always want what the other one has.

They also discovered cowboy boots. Luckily, we have two pair, but one is Will's. He doesn't mind letting them wear them around the house though.

Look how cute they are sharing their bed though!

While I was at JC Penney one day, I found this Olaf costume on clearance for $11, so I had to grab it to go in with our dress-ups.

It was a little big on Will, but the Henry insisted that he have a turn to wear it too.

And here are some bath pictures...just because they're cute.

The 19th was Talk Like a Pirate Day, so I decided to take the kids to get some free donuts. We didn't dress up because there was supposed to be a snapchat filter that we could use instead. It didn't work, but they gave us free donuts anyway.

The twins are in looove with donuts right now, so they were in heaven.

The twins also got their first tattoos. Will found some Jungle Book ones in the house, so Charlie got Kaa, Henry got Baloo, and Will got Shere Khan.

Adam worked a lot this month, so he took a a day off so we could take a trip up to see Muir Woods.

We had tried to come up a couple times before, but it was always too busy for us to even find a parking spot. Coming up on a weekday worked out great though.

We wore the twins most of the time, since we figured they wouldn't be able to walk very far, but they wanted to get down and run around.

After walking the main loop around Muir Woods, we decided to make a quick visit to Stinson Beach.

We had thought about coming as kind of a back-up plan, and we forgot to grab swim suits for Henry and Charlie so they got to hang out in their diapers.

All the boys loved the ocean, as usual. It was a little cold and windy, but they didn't mind.

In fact, they cried when we said it was time to go. It's too bad we don't have a closer beach!

And here's some random videos for the month:
