Columbus Day in San Francisco

Our first weekend in California was pretty busy. We got there on Friday around lunch time, and that afternoon our first guests arrived! Mark and Colleen flew out to spend the weekend. Luckily, we didn't have much to unpack, and we were able to take advantage of some free babysitting while we got our shopping done.

On Sunday we took BART into San Francisco to catch the Columbus Day celebrations. First we went to the Ferrari show at Washington Square.

It was also fleet week, so we went to the marina and and watched the air show.

 We loved watching the Blue Angels!

 There was also a fun parade with some skywriters!



Then we walked down the wharf and hung out at Pier 39 while we waited for our dinner spot.

We were too tired to walk back to our BART station, so we took some pedi-cabs back. 

It was a long time with the babes but we had a fun time seeing the city!
