The one holiday that I miss out on in Texas is Pioneer Day! Obviously it is a minor holiday, but it's also when Spanish Fork does Fiesta Days, so I always miss it when I'm gone. But this year, I lucked out and was home for it!
We went downtown and checked out the sidewalk sales and ate some delicious vendor food.
We had a little barbecue for dinner, and when night rolled around we were ready for some fireworks!
Will was super excited to do some poppers. I'd bought some for him to do on the 4th of July and he loved them. He went through 3 boxes in like ten minutes, and kept asking for more, so I promised him we could get some more for the 24th!
We'd taken Will to professional fireworks shows before, but never done our own. Turns out he liked it better! Something about having them so close I guess.
Henry loved them too! Charlie was unsure about it, but Henry was super excited.
He couldn't stop jumping and dancing around!
Lots of the neighbors were still shooting off aerials after we finished, so Will and I stayed up to watch some extras by ourselves.
