Crawfish and Snails

May/Early June is crawfish season around here, and we were lucky enough to go to a couple of crawfish boils this year. The best one was put on by Adam's work.

We started our day with a little trip to the beach in the morning, then headed over to the park. The company had tons of food ready for us and lots of activities set up for the kids.

We saw this blow-up thing on our way in and I thought that it was a slide, so I took Will over to go down it. Turns out it was a little zipline!

I had Will watch someone first to make sure he really wanted to do it and he said he did, so I took him up.

He got a little nervous once we got to the top and said he was too scared to go down, but I told him it was too late and he had to go anyway!

He loved it! At least, he said it was fun, but he was too scared to go again lol.

They also had free snow cones and cotton candy, so we had to make sure to get some of those too!

It was Will's first time eating cotton candy and he loved it! (of course)

And five minutes later we were in the car and Will was passed out... poor guy.

Somehow the babies slept through the whole thing, even with live music and some crazy wind.  They were excited to stretch out when we got home though!

Texas summers are also full of rainy days. The joys of living in the south I guess.

One night Will was going nuts so I took him outside to play with his ball, but it was too wet so we decided to find snails and frogs instead!

Will was very concerned about the snails being alone, so he made me collect all of them (we found about five) and put them all together in front of our apartment.

He really liked finding them, but holding them made him a little nervous. And here's some cute pictures of the kids.

Scooting around! Henry started moving off the blanket pretty early!
